§ 101-a. Pending actions and proceedings. No action or other\nproceeding, relating to any complaint alleging a misdemeanor under the\nmultiple dwelling law which shall be pending before any three judge\npanel of the criminal court on the effective date of this act, which\nprovides for trial solely before a single judge of the criminal court\nshall abate or be otherwise affected by the passage of this act and all\nsuch actions and proceedings so pending shall thereafter be continued\nbefore any three judge panel of the criminal court. Any three judge\npanel of the criminal court shall have the power to adjourn any action\nor proceeding pending at or before the time this act takes effect to\nsome day thereafter when the same shall be continued before such panel\nof the criminal court to which it was adjourned. In no event, however,\nmay such an action or proceeding be transferred from a single judge of\nthe criminal court to a three judge panel thereof after the effective\ndate of this act.\n
