§ 420.05 Payment of fines, mandatory surcharges and fees by credit card.\n When the court imposes a fine, mandatory surcharge or fee upon an\nindividual who stands convicted of any offense, such individual may pay\nsuch fine, mandatory surcharge or fee by credit card or similar device.\nIn such event, notwithstanding any other provision of law, he or she\nalso may be required to pay a reasonable administrative fee. The amount\nof such administrative fee and the time and manner of its payment shall\nbe in accordance with the system established by the chief administrator\nof the courts pursuant to paragraph (j) of subdivision two of section\ntwo hundred twelve of the judiciary law.\n
