§ 89-f. Oversight. The state commission of correction shall exercise\nthe same powers and duties concerning each alternate correctional\nfacility as the commission is required to exercise concerning a New York\nstate correctional facility. The commission shall prepare an annual\nreport on each alternate correctional facility which shall evaluate and\nassess the department's compliance with all rules and regulations\napplicable to that facility and the operation agreement and which shall\ninclude an analysis of the frequency and severity of all unusual\nincidents and assaults occurring in that facility. The annual reports\nshall be filed with the governor, the mayor of the city of New York, the\nchairman of the senate crime and correction committee, and the chairman\nof the assembly committee on correction no later than the first day of\nJune of each year.\n
