§ 853. Reporting and information. To ensure the accurate maintenance\nand availability of statistics and records with respect to participation\nin temporary release programs, the department shall maintain the\nfollowing information relative to the operation of temporary release\nprograms:\n (a) number of incarcerated individual participants in each temporary\nrelease program;\n (b) number of incarcerated individuals participating in temporary\nrelease for whom written approval of the commissioner was required\npursuant to subdivision two of section eight hundred fifty-one of this\nchapter;\n (c) number and type of individual programs approved for each\nparticipant;\n (d) approved participating employers and educational institutions;\n (e) number of incarcerated individuals arrested;\n (f) incarcerated individuals involuntarily returned for violations by\ninstitution;\n (g) absconders still at large;\n (h) number of disciplinary proceedings initiated and the results\nthereof;\n (i) number of temporary release committee decisions appealed and the\nresults thereof by institution;\n (j) reports or information made available to the department with\nrespect to the participation of individuals in such programs, including\nany incidents of absconding or re-arrest.\n The department shall also forward to the state commission of\ncorrection quarterly reports including, but not limited to, the\ninformation identified in subdivisions (a), (b), (d), (e), (f) and (g)\nof this section and such other information requested by the commission\nor available to the department with respect to such programs.\n
