§ 275. Transfer of custody and supervision of conditional releasee. 1.\nIf a person who has been granted conditional release pursuant to this\narticle resides or desires to reside in a place other than the one\nlocated within the jurisdiction of the commission which has legal\ncustody of such person, such commission, or any member thereof, may\ndesignate any other commission established pursuant to this article, or\nthe department, to assume custody of such person and may so transfer\ncustody upon the consent of such other commission or the department.\n 2. Where custody of a person who has been granted conditional release\npursuant to this article is transferred pursuant to subdivision one of\nthis section, upon designation and prior to transfer, the commission\nmaking the designation shall notify the commission which has been\ndesignated to receive custody of such transfer or the department. The\ncommission making the designation shall immediately forward its entire\ncase record regarding such person to the receiving commission or the\ndepartment. The commission to which legal custody has been transferred,\nor the department, shall assume the same powers and duties exercised by\nthe designating commission and shall have the sole custody of such\nperson.\n 3. The commission making the designation shall, upon designation and\nprior to transfer, notify the local probation department located in the\njurisdiction of the receiving commission of the duties of supervision\nand conditions of release of such person. Upon such notification, such\nprobation department shall assume responsibilities of supervision. The\ncommission making the designation shall immediately forward its entire\ncase record regarding such person to such probation department.\n
