§ 143. Custody of persons convicted of crimes against the United\nStates. The commissioner is authorized to enter into agreements for the\ncare and custody of persons convicted and sentenced to imprisonment by\nthe United States courts in this state. Persons may be confined in\ncorrectional facilities pursuant to any such agreement and all\nprovisions of law applicable to the care and custody of incarcerated\nindividuals sentenced by courts of this state, except provisions\ngoverning the duration of sentence and other related incidents of the\nsentence provided by federal law, shall apply to the care and custody of\nsuch persons.\n
