§ 502. Eligibility criteria. In order to participate in the\nmanufacturing workforce training incentive program, a business entity\nmust satisfy the following criteria:\n 1. The business entity must operate in the state as a semiconductor\nmanufacturing business or a manufacturing business as defined in this\narticle;\n 2. The business entity must demonstrate that it is conducting eligible\ntraining or obtaining eligible training from an approved provider; and\n 3. The business entity must be in compliance with all worker\nprotection and environmental laws and regulations. In addition, the\nbusiness entity may not owe past due state taxes or local property\ntaxes.\n 4. The business entity must submit a report upon completion of the\neligible training that specifies the total amount of eligible training\ncosts covered, including a breakdown between training expenses, wages,\nand wraparound services; the total number of employees that begin\ntraining; the total number of employees that finish training; the skills\nor type of training provided, including a list of applicable\ntransferrable credentialing opportunities that were provided and\ninformation on whether or not the program is a registered apprenticeship\nprogram; information on any formalized agreements or partnerships with\ncommunity or labor organizations to support the training program; the\nname of the training provider; and whether the covered employee is\nretained one year after the completion of the funded training.\n
