§ 134. Lawful actions pursuant to this chapter. 1. Contracts related\nto the operation of registered organizations, licenses and permits under\nthis chapter shall be lawful and shall not be deemed unenforceable on\nthe basis that the actions permitted pursuant to the registration,\nlicense or permit are prohibited by federal law.\n 2. The following actions are not unlawful as provided under this\nchapter, shall not be an offense under any state or local law, and shall\nnot result in any civil penalty, fine, seizure, or forfeiture of assets,\nor be the basis for detention or search against any person acting in\naccordance with this chapter:\n (a) Actions of a registered organization, licensee, or permittee, or\nthe employees or agents of such registered organization, licensee or\npermittee, as permitted by this chapter and consistent with rules and\nregulations of the office, pursuant to a valid registration, license or\npermit issued by the board.\n (b) Actions of those who allow property to be used by a registered\norganization, licensee, or permittee, or the employees or agents of such\nregistered organization, licensee or permittee, as permitted by this\nchapter and consistent with rules and regulations of the office,\npursuant to a valid registration, license or permit issued by the board.\n (c) Actions of any person or entity, their employees, or their agents\nproviding a service to a registered organization, licensee, permittee or\na potential registered organization, licensee, or permittee, as\npermitted by this chapter and consistent with rules and regulations of\nthe office, relating to the formation of a business.\n (d) The purchase, cultivation, possession, or consumption of cannabis\nand medical cannabis, as permitted by law, and consistent with rules and\nregulations of the board.\n
