Boxing and professional wrestling exhibitions authorized

* § 5. Boxing and professional wrestling exhibitions authorized. No\nboxing, sparring or professional wrestling matches or exhibitions shall\nbe conducted, held or given within the state except in accordance with\nthe provisions of this act. The commission shall direct a deputy to be\npresent at each place where boxing or sparring matches or exhibitions\nare to be held pursuant to the provisions of this act. Such deputy shall\nascertain the exact conditions surrounding such match or exhibition and\nmake a written report of the same in the manner and form prescribed by\nthe commission. Such boxing or sparring matches or exhibitions may be\nheld in any building for which the commission in its discretion may\nissue a license. Where such match or exhibition is authorized to be held\nin a state or city owned armory, the provision of the military law in\nrespect thereto must be complied with, but no such match or exhibition\nshall be held in a building wholly used for religious services.\n  * NB Repealed September 1, 2016\n
