The uniform commercial code,\narticle twenty-two-A of the general business law, the provisions of this\nchapter governing deposits generally, the abandoned property law, and\nthe principles of law and equity, including any applicable law related\nto capacity to contract, principal and agent, estoppel, fraud,\nmisrepresentation, duress, coercion, mistake, and bankruptcy, supplement\nthis article except to the extent inconsistent with this article.\n
