Farmer and custom processors

§ 96-j. Farmer and custom processors. This article shall not apply to\nany bona fide farmer who butchers his own domestic animals on his own\nfarm exclusively for use by him and members of his household and his\nnon-paying guests and employees, custom slaughterers, custom slaughtered\nmeat, farm dressed meat, custom meat by-products, custom meat food\nproducts, and establishments where only such products are prepared,\nproduced, processed or packaged, provided, however, that custom\nslaughtered meat, farm dressed meat, custom meat by-products and custom\nmeat food products shall be identified as such in such manner as may be\nrequired by the commissioner by duly promulgated rules and regulations.\n
