§ 90-h. Violations; remedies. The commissioner may institute such\naction at law or in equity as may appear necessary to enforce compliance\nwith any provision of the statutes, rules and orders committed to his\nadministration in regard to animal health permits and infectious or\ncommunicable disease affecting domestic animals, and in addition to any\nother remedy under article three of this chapter or otherwise may apply\nfor relief by injunction if necessary to protect the public interest\nwithout being compelled to allege or prove that an adequate remedy at\nlaw does not exist. Such application may be made to the supreme court in\nany district or county as provided in the civil practice law and rules,\nor to the supreme court in the third judicial district.\n
