§ 40-a. Deposit of money. The commissioner is hereby authorized and\ndirected to deposit all money recovered or received by the department in\nsatisfaction of penalties assessed for violations of this chapter and\nrules and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto to the credit of the\ngeneral fund.\n
