§ 204-d. Adulteration of natural fruit juices. Any person who shall\nknowingly sell, offer or expose for sale, or give away, any compound or\npreparation composed, in whole or in part, of any unwholesome,\ndeleterious or poisonous acid, or other unwholesome deleterious or\npoisonous substance, as a substitute for the pure unadulterated and\nunfermented juice of lemons, limes, oranges, currants, grapes, apples,\npeaches, plums, pears, berries, quinces, or other natural fruits,\nrepresenting such compound or preparation to be pure, unadulterated and\nunfermented juice of such fruits; or who, in the mixing, decoction, or\npreparation of food or drink, shall knowingly use any such compound or\npreparation in the place of, or as a substitute for, the pure\nunadulterated and unfermented juice of one or more of such fruits, shall\nbe guilty of a misdemeanor.\n
