Chapter 9, Article 3 NMSA 1978 may be cited as the "Corrections Department Act". History: 1978 Comp., § 9-3-1, enacted by Laws 1977, ch. 257, § 1; 1980, ch. 150, § 1; 1981, ch. 73, § 1; 2007, ch. 9, § 1; 2007, ch. 123, § 1. The 2007 amendment, effective July 1, 2007, added the NMSA 1978 statutory reference to the act. Laws 2007, ch. 9, § 1 and Laws 2007, ch. 123, § 1 enacted identical amendments to this section. The section was set out as amended by Laws 2007, ch. 123, § 1. See 12-1-8 NMSA 1978.
