The information technology commission is terminated July 1, 2017 pursuant to the provisions of the Sunset Act [12-9-11 to 12-9-21 NMSA 1978]. The commission shall continue to operate according to the provisions of the Department of Information Technology Act until July 1, 2018. Effective July 1, 2018, Section 9-27-9 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 2007, Chapter 290, Section 9, as amended) is repealed. History: Laws 2017, ch. 45, § 1. Effective dates. — Laws 2017, ch. 45 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 16, 2017, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
