The department is designated as the lead state agency to coordinate or accept federal and state funds appropriated for conversion of defense technologies and to coordinate technology transfer in accordance with the state's technology development plan. Emergency clauses. — Laws 1993, ch. 211, § 6 and Laws 1993, ch. 216, § 7 contained an emergency clause and were approved April 5, 1993.
