All policy-making boards and commissions within the two departments shall retain at least the amount of autonomy and control they possess under present law. History: Laws 1979, ch. 205, § 3. Effective dates. — Laws 1979, ch. 205 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective April 2, 1979, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
