As used in Sections 77-17-7 and 77-17-8 NMSA 1978, "slaughterhouse" means an abattoir or a place where livestock are slaughtered. History: 1953 Comp., § 47-20-5.1, enacted by Laws 1965, ch. 127, § 1; 1999, ch. 282, § 98. The 1999 amendment, effective July 1, 1999, deleted the definitions for "person" and "residential dwelling house", substituted "Sections 77-17-7 and 77-17-8 NMSA 1978" for "this act", and made stylistic changes.
