The director shall administer the provisions of the Noxious Weed Management Act subject to the directives, policies and regulations of the board of regents of New Mexico state university. History: Laws 1998, ch. 78, § 5. Effective dates. — Laws 1998, ch. 78 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective May 20, 1998, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
