Elections shall be held pursuant to the provisions of the Local Election Act [Chapter 1, Article 22 NMSA 1978]. History: 1953 Comp., § 75-38-28, enacted by Laws 1967, ch. 156, § 28; 2018, ch. 79, § 117. The 2018 amendment, effective July 1, 2018, completely rewrote the section, providing that elections for directors of the Las Cruces Flood Control Authority shall be held pursuant to the provisions of the Local Election Act.
