Nothing in the Solar Collector Standards Act [71-6-4 to 71-6-10 NMSA 1978] shall be construed to create any liability of malfeasance, misfeasance or nonfeasance in the performance of any duty required of the state, any of its agencies or political subdivisions or any institution controlled by the state. History: Laws 1981, ch. 379, § 20. Effective dates. — Laws 1981, ch. 379, § 23, provides that the effective date of Laws 1981, ch. 379, § 22, is the first day after the date that the secretary of energy and minerals has certified to the governor in writing that a transition plan has been fully implemented pursuant to Subsection B of Section 13 of the Energy Research and Development Institute Act. Emergency clauses. — Laws 1981, ch. 379, § 24, makes the act effective immediately. Approved April 10, 1981.
