No permit shall be required from the state engineer for the disposition of produced water in accordance with rules promulgated pursuant to Section 70-2-12 NMSA 1978 by the oil conservation division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department. History: Laws 2004, ch. 87, § 1. Effective dates. — Laws 2004, ch. 87 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective May 19, 2004, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
