The member representing New Mexico on the multistate tax commission may be represented thereon by an alternate designated by him. Any such alternate shall be a principal deputy or assistant of the member of the commission in the agency which the member heads. History: 1953 Comp., § 72-15A-40, enacted by Laws 1967, ch. 56, § 4. Effective dates. — Laws 1967, ch. 56 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 16, 1967, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
