Chapter 69, Article 8 NMSA 1978 may be cited as the "Mining Safety Act". History: 1953 Comp., § 63-31-1, enacted by Laws 1961, ch. 136, § 1; 2006, ch. 102, § 3; 2006, ch. 106, § 3. The 2006 amendment, effective March 7, 2006, added the statutory reference to the short title.
