The department shall make available, upon request, county name stickers or decals for purchase at a reasonable charge to be set by the secretary. The stickers or decals shall be designed and prescribed by the department to fit on a registration plate without obscuring the registration number or validating sticker. History: Laws 2005, ch. 13, § 1. Effective dates. — Laws 2005, ch. 13 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 17, 2005, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
