A. A communication is confidential when it is not intended to be disclosed to third persons other than those present to further the interest of the person requiring the interpreting. B. A licensed signed language interpreter shall not disclose confidential information obtained in the course of professional services. History: Laws 2007, ch. 248, § 6. Effective dates. — Laws 2007, ch. 248 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 15, 2007, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
