The purpose of the Body Art Safe Practices Act is to provide a safe and healthy environment for the administration of body art. History: Laws 2007, ch. 181, § 2. Delayed repeals. — For delayed repeal of this section, see 61-17B-18 NMSA 1978. Effective dates. — Laws 2007, ch. 181 contains no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, is effective June 15, 2007, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
