New Mexico Code § 60-2A-21

Length of professional contests; rounds. (Repealed effective July 1, 2030.)

No professional boxing contest shall be more than fifteen rounds in length, and each round shall not exceed three minutes in length. There shall be a one-minute rest between rounds. The commission shall adopt rules governing the length of professional kickboxing, professional martial arts, professional mixed martial arts and sports entertainment wrestling contests, duration of rounds and the period of rest between rounds.

Delayed repeal. — For delayed repeal of this section, see 60-2A-30 NMSA 1978.
The 2024 amendment, effective May 15, 2024, amended existing provisions to include professional kickboxers, professional martial artists, professional mixed martial artists and sports entertainment wrestlers within the scope of the section; and after "length of professional" deleted "wrestling" and added "kickboxing, professional martial arts, professional mixed martial arts and sports entertainment wrestling".
