A. The department shall enforce and administer the provisions of the Crane Operators Safety Act. B. The department shall adopt rules to carry out the provisions of the Crane Operators Safety Act and to meet the occupational safety and health administration crane certification requirements. The 2017 amendment, effective June 16, 2017, provided additional duties for the department in carrying out the provisions of the Crane Operators Safety Act; in Subsection A, after "provisions of the", deleted "Hoisting" and added "Crane"; in Subsection B, after "adopt rules", deleted "and regulations necessary", after "provisions of the", deleted "Hoisting" and added "Crane", and after "Safety Act", added "and to meet the occupational safety and health administration crane certification requirements".
