New Mexico Code § 60-13B-4

Division powers; rules. (Effective July 1, 2025.)

The division shall:
A. enforce and administer the provisions of the Elevator Safety Act in accordance with the Uniform Licensing Act [Chapter 61, Article 1 NMSA 1978]; and
B. adopt rules in accordance with the State Rules Act [Chapter 14, Article 4 NMSA 1978] to enforce and administer the Elevator Safety Act.

Compiler's notes. — Laws 2023, ch. 197, §§ 1 through 15, the Elevator Safety Act, effective July 1, 2025, were formerly compiled as 61-38-1 through 61-38-15 NMSA 1978, and have been recompiled as 60-13B-1 through 60-13B-15 NMSA 1978 by the compiler.
Effective dates. — Laws 2023, ch. 197, § 16 made Laws 2023, ch. 197, § 4 effective July 1, 2025.
