The state fire marshal shall establish and conduct training programs throughout the state for demonstrating and teaching firefighters proper methods of preventing and extinguishing fires. History: Laws 1984, ch. 127, § 952; 2020, ch. 9, § 33. The 2020 amendment, effective July 1, 2021, added "state fire" preceding "marshal", and deleted "The marshal shall have available, from funds included in the general appropriation act of each legislature, money for use by him in establishing and conducting such training programs.".
