It is the purpose of the Workers' Compensation Assigned Risk Pool Law to provide for the insurance of workers' compensation insurance risks that have, in good faith but without success, sought insurance in the usual manner from any two or more insurers authorized to transact in New Mexico the business of workers' compensation insurance and to provide for the equitable distribution of risks among commercial line insurers. The 1993 amendment, effective June 18, 1993, deleted "as determined by the superintendent" at the end of the section and made a minor stylistic change.
