Chapter 59A, Article 23E NMSA 1978 may be cited as the "Health Insurance Portability Act". History: Laws 1997, ch. 243, § 1; 1998, ch. 41, § 5. The 1998 amendment, effective March 6, 1998, substituted "Chapter 59A, Article 23E NMSA 1978" for "Sections 1 through 17 of this act" at the beginning of the section.
