The Mortgage Finance Authority Act, being necessary for the welfare of the state and its inhabitants, shall be liberally construed to effect its purposes. History: 1953 Comp., § 13-19-27, enacted by Laws 1975, ch. 303, § 27; 1995, ch. 9, § 36. The 1995 amendment, effective June 16, 1995, substituted "effect its purposes" for "effect the purposes thereof" at the end.
