Any money received by the state pursuant to the federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998 shall be subject to appropriation by the legislature consistent with the terms and conditions required by that act. History: Laws 1999, ch. 260, § 8. Repeals. — Section 50-14-16 NMSA 1978 provided for the delayed repeal of the Workforce Development Act, effective July 1, 2012. Laws 2007, ch. 200, § 24 repealed 50-14-16 NMSA 1978, effective July 1, 2007. Cross references. — For the federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998, see 29 U.S.C. § 2801 et seq.
