An individual may transfer property to one or more beneficiaries effective at the transferor's death by a transfer on death deed. History: 1978 Comp., § 45-6-405, enacted by Laws 2013, ch. 38, § 5. Effective dates. — Laws 2013, ch. 38, § 18 provided that Laws 2013, ch. 38, § 5 was effective January 1, 2014.
