The Uniform Foreign-Money Claims Act shall be applied and construed to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law with respect to the subject of that act among states enacting it. History: Laws 1991, ch. 181, § 15. Applicability. — Laws 1991, ch. 181, § 18 makes the Uniform Foreign-Money Claims Act applicable to actions and distribution proceedings commenced after July 1, 1991.
