There shall be one magistrate in Catron magistrate district whose principal court is in Reserve. History: 1953 Comp., § 36-1-5, enacted by Laws 1968, ch. 62, § 7; 1977, ch. 153, § 1; 1985, ch. 145, § 1; 2017, ch. 8, § 1. The 2017 amendment, effective June 16, 2017, eliminated the magistrate circuit court in Quemado, and deleted the last sentence of the section, which provided "The magistrate shall ride circuit to Quemado on a regularly scheduled basis.".
