As used in the Adult Community Corrections Act: A. "department" means the corrections department; B. "fund" means the community corrections grant fund; C. "program" means a community-based program that is operated by a county, municipality, the department or a private organization, individually or jointly, with the purpose of providing services to criminal offenders; D. "criminal offender" means any person convicted of a felony; and E. "volunteer services" means services provided by individuals or organizations without compensation.
