All employees of the department shall be trained in their legal duties to protect the constitutional and statutory rights of children and families from the initial time of contact, during the investigation and throughout any treatment. History: Laws 2005, ch. 189, § 57. Effective dates. — Laws 2005, ch. 189 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 17, 2005, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
