Encouraging violation of probation, parole or bail consists of intentionally aiding or encouraging a person known by him to be on parole, probation or bail to abscond or to violate a term or condition of his probation, parole or bail. Whoever commits encouraging violation of probation, parole or bail is guilty of a misdemeanor. History: 1953 Comp., § 40A-22-17, enacted by Laws 1963, ch. 303, § 22-17.
