New Mexico Code § 3-35-9

Interest on assessments; penalties after delinquency

Assessments shall bear interest at the rate provided in the ordinance and from the
date of the publication of the assessing ordinance until paid. The ordinance shall
prescribe when the assessments become due and delinquent, and the penalties
payable after delinquency.
