Associations formed under Chapter 3, Article 28 NMSA 1978 may have such officers or agents chosen or appointed in such manner and for such terms as may be provided by the bylaws except as is otherwise provided in Chapter 3, Article 28 NMSA 1978. History: 1953 Comp., § 14-27-9, enacted by Laws 1965, ch. 300; 1990, ch. 60, § 8. The 1990 amendment, effective March 2, 1990, inserted "formed under Chapter 3, Article 28 NMSA 1978", substituted "Chapter 3, Article 28 NMSA 1978" for "Sections 14-27-1 through 14-27-18 New Mexico Statutes Annotated, 1953 Compilation" and made a minor stylistic change.
