New Mexico Code § 29-7-7.2

Every law enforcement agency within the state shall submit quarterly a report to the director and the board on the status of each police officer employed by the law enforcement agency. The reports shall include the status of in-service law enforcement training. The reporting forms and submittal dates shall be prescribed by the board.

The 2022 amendment, effective July 1, 2023, amended an existing provision that required every law enforcement agency within the state to submit a quarterly report to the director of the law enforcement academy to also submit the report to the law enforcement certification board, and provided that the law enforcement certification board is required to prescribe the reporting forms and submittal dates, and removed this duty from the director of the law enforcement academy; after "report to the director", added "and the board", and after "prescribed by the", deleted "director" and added "board".
The 1988 amendment, effective July 1, 1988, added the second sentence.
