There is hereby created the New Mexico mounted patrol to be composed of units or troops situated throughout the state and organized, officered and manned pursuant to and under the direction of the governor. History: 1941 Comp., § 66-1101, enacted by Laws 1941, ch. 149, § 1; 1953 Comp., § 9-11-1.
