As used in the Community Action Act: A. "poverty level" means the official poverty level established by the federal director of the office of management and budget and revised periodically by the United States secretary of health and human services; and B. "secretary" means the secretary of health care authority. History: Laws 1983, ch. 139, § 3; 2024, ch. 39, § 112. The 2024 amendment, effective July 1, 2024, in Subsection B, deleted "human services" and added "health care authority".
