The department shall administer sanctions for a provider's failure to comply with the Employee Abuse Registry Act, including a directed plan of correction or civil monetary penalty not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) per instance. History: Laws 2005, ch. 256, § 8. Effective dates. — Laws 2005, ch. 256 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 17, 2005, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
