The public health division of the department of health has authority to establish, administer and supervise activities to children who have a physical disability or whose condition may become a disability. The public health division also may supervise the administration of those services to children with a disability that are not administered directly by it. History: 1978 Comp., § 24-2-1, enacted by Laws 1977, ch. 253, § 40; 2007, ch. 46, § 14. The 2007 amendment, effective June 15, 2007, made non-substantive language changes.
