Chapter 24, Article 14 NMSA 1978 may be cited as the "Vital Statistics Act". History: 1953 Comp., § 12-4-23, enacted by Laws 1961, ch. 44, § 1; 2013, ch. 183, § 1. The 2013 amendment, effective January 1, 2014, added the NMSA chapter and article for the Vital Statistics Act; and at the beginning of the sentence, deleted "This act" and added "Chapter 24, Article 14 NMSA 1978".
